Why Updates Matter Here
Trivia is full of facts that move: records fall, rankings shift, programs change their rules, and new champions are crowned every season. A quiz guide that was accurate at publication can quietly go stale, so updating is a scheduled part of our editorial process — not an afterthought triggered only by complaints.
Scheduled Review Cycles
Every article carries a last-updated date, and each is assigned a review rhythm based on how fast its subject moves. Fast-moving topics — sports records, wealth rankings, population figures, quiz program details — are reviewed on a rolling basis and always after a relevant major event. Stable topics — history, classic literature, established science — are reviewed at least annually. Seasonal pages are refreshed before their season arrives.
What a Review Covers
A review is a full pass, not a spot check: time-sensitive facts are re-verified against the authoritative sources listed in the article, practice questions are re-tested to confirm exactly one defensible answer, statistics tables are refreshed, and internal links are checked. When sources disagree or a fact is contested, we say so in the text rather than quietly choosing one side.
Corrections
Errors found between scheduled reviews are corrected promptly and directly in the article text, with the last-updated date refreshed. We do not hide substantive changes; where a correction materially changes an answer or a record, the article reflects the new state plainly.
How to Request an Update
Readers are our best early-warning system. If you spot something stale — a record that fell, a ranking that moved, a rule that changed — tell us via our Contact page with the page URL and, ideally, a supporting source. Referenced update requests are verified and published fastest.
